I have an idea for a team. It's about sharing our knowledge with one another. it's based on the knowledge that we have learned through out years of diet and exercise. No matter if we've been successful or not. The amount of information we have learned along the way is insurmountable.
The team is also based on knowledge that we already know and are still learning along the way.
Here's my ideas for the team.....

HELLO ALL YOU SPARKLING SPARKERS OF SPARKINESS!
If you're like me you have probably been dieting all of your life. Have you ever thought about all the knowledge you have gained about health, fitness,wellbeing? I'm willing to bet you have tons of ideas and knowledge about the process. Join this team and share the wealth! You can also share new stuff that you have learned here on Sparkpeople or else where.
Here's what to expect while you are here:
*Keep your posts focused on health, fitness, motivation, nutrition, and anything else that has to do with a healthy lifestyle.
*Make your posts as brief as possible. This makes this team easy to follow.
Here are the different threads for this group.....
*A “Ramble On” thread. This is where you can write paragraphs of what you have learned for the day.
*A “Bits and pieces” thread that is for short and to the point entries
*A “Share your knowledge” thread about subjects you have recently learned and knowledge that you have picked up along the way.
*A fitness thread. Post anything here. Even if you just walked for 15 minutes or so.
*A motivation thread where you can motivational stories or motivational quotes.
*A quiz thread where we can post questions for others to answer. You can add both questions and answers so your fellow sparkers can learn about your subject quickly.
*A “Did you know?” thread where you can share things from just your memory. Make sure to add links for folks to learn more about the task at hand.
*A Food Pyramid thread.
This is where we learn and share portion sizes and amounts of fruits, veges, dairy, and proteins, whole grains water that we have recently consumed according to the Food Pyramid.. The purpose of this thread is to teach us the importance of serving sizes and encourages us to share and consume the necessary nutrients for the day. And to encourage you to make healthy choices. Once you get the hang of it I promise you will get used to it.
*PLEASE NOTE: When you start learning about the Food Pyramid it can seem overwhelming.YOU ARE NOT expected to consume all the nutrients in one day. Start out small and build on it. Then post what you consumed. Also, give your fellow sparkers praise for their efforts.
If you will notice on your food tracker it is basically centered on the Food Pyramid.

You won't find a lot of trivial posts here. This group will keep the members busy learning and teaching concepts about health and well being. This will be fun in itself....
