Feelin' the Groove

Oh my goodness, the dance workout was a million times better! It didn't burn as many calories and was not as hard, but I know I will keep it up because it is so much fun!

There are 7 different workouts for the dance program. One for latin, bollywood, hip hop, club, african, caribbean and one called All Stars. I have no idea what All Stars means, but I guess I will find out.

I think this is a workout I can stick to because I enjoyed it so it didn't feel like working out. Plus I am in my own apartment so in my mind I am dancing like Beyonce and there is no one to tell me that I really look like an uncoordinated baby giraffe.

My nutrition has not been exactly perfect, but I have been drinking a ton of water and tomorrow I am going to do a grocery shop for the week and so I can get started much better next week.

Another Sparkperson told me about the Biggest Loser challenge and so I am so pysched to start that also because that is JUST the thing I need . Some fun competition and challenges and a team to keep me on track and accountable. It sounds like a lot of fun!

My goal for tomorrow will be to take some before pictures so I can compare every 30 days.

Well, so far I feel like I am off to a good start. Now to keep it up!

    We have the Just Dance 4 and it is so much fun and a great workout. It tracks your level of effort and selects the next song or aerobic portion based on previous effort so it inspires you to work hard to keep it "intense". I am going to check out the Biggest Loser challenge too it sounds like it might be something good for me too. Good luck on your weight loss adventures!

    I love using the "Just Dance" games on my daughter's Wii! I am waiting to get the newest one. I am not coordinated and there are some songs that I just try to keep up with. Either way, I end up sweaty and invigorated!
