Not much time left for me to sign off as 2012! So I thought I'd take the opportunity emoticon

I'm just doing last odds and ends to be ready for the morning. I need to pack and get away by 11.00am at the latest.
I'm also watching a programme about Freddie Mercury on TV. "Queen Live in Budapest: Hungarian Rhapsody" is about to start. My TV volume is turned up fairly loud.

Note to self - thinking about my neighbours - I don't need to put a note through thir door that we'll be away, as DSy will be at home this time, while we're with MIL.

OK - heading for the kitchen to prepare the root etc mash to be ready to take for tomorrow's evening meal.
Potato, carrot, turnip, swede, leek and kale. To go with fresh cod that MIL phoned today to say she'd managed to get. We'll have with tomatoes - I can prepare that whole the roots are cooking. And I'll get some bell peppers tomorrow (the DGF doesn't eat tomatoes, so I reckon red bell peppers will work for her).

So that is the Queen concert started. Freddy is strutting across the stage. This is the kind of programme I need to watch during the day with nobody at home. I need the volume way up!!!
Just like The 1812 Overture, really! I need the volume way up, to enjoy it properly.

Well, I still have a couple of days of 2012 left - I'll try to get back whilst I still have this year! But definitely away to the kitchen for now - duty over pleasure.
