Beginning Again

It's that time of year were we all make a promise to lose weight and eat right. We might get into the swing of things and keep up for a month or two and gradually slip into the repetitive cycle that has lead us all to make the same New Year's resolution year after year.
I don't know about you, but I am ready for a change. I want to lose those four inches on my hips that keep me from fitting into the size 20 bride's maid dress I ordered. I'm adding purposeful activity for 60 minutes everyday, (my personal favorite is Zumba.) I no longer want to have a BMI level that classifies me as obese. When my bride's maid dress arrives in May I want to need alterations because I need a smaller size. I want to be under 200 lbs when my best friend gets married and when I turn 25. Most importantly I want to be a better a healthier version of myself.
I have a lot of goals. To many to keep letting myself fail because it's easier to sit on the sideline than it is to invoke life altering health habits. I'm finished with being passive. It's time to get active!
