Yesterday I bought the 6 week diet plan SHRED by Dr. Ian Smith. The plan promises that in 6 weeks you will lose 4 inches, 2 sizes. Boy, did that sound good. So I bought the book, read the guidelines, and purchased the food items I needed to make it through the first few days. Almost immediately, trepidation, anxiety, and stress set in. Every ""what if" I could think of came to mind. Okay, time to STOP and rethink this plan! What do I already know: 1. I hate following specific plans 2. I never stick to specific plans 3. specific plans cause me stress 4. not following a specific plan is best for me 5. I have had more success not following a strict routine whether the strict routine was for eating or working out....
Sooooo...Common sense tells me, this is not for me! I would only be setting myself up for failure(again)...That is why I'm not going to do the SHRED plan. Awwwwww...I feel relieved already! I will use some of the meal plans, some of the smoothie and soup recipes but the plan I follow is going to be all mine and a simple plan at that. MOVE MORE..EAT LESS JUNK..EAT MORE VEGGIES..EAT MORE FRUIT..DRINK WATER..STRESS LESS WHILE DOING SAID PLAN! Yeah, that's the ticket!
