Declaration of War on the Yellow Intruder

Friday, December 28, 2012

"Warning...this blog is graphic and may not be what you're looking for to cheer you up."

I've been so on fire lately about getting the fat out of my body. I saw a video the other day of several different amounts of fat and what it looks like around our organs. It actually made my skin crawl to think that yellow lumpy and squishy substance was lurking under my skin. That's what is hidden in our bodies. IT MADE ME SO MAD AT MYSELF. To think that I let my body be confiscated by this gross yellow fat! It clings to our muscles and tendons and tries to fill in all the gaps.

Well, I am mad and when I get mad THINGS HAPPEN! First off, I am declaring war on the nasty yellow stuff in my body. I only want nice pink healthy organs and skin. So, from this point forward,

I will not grunt or groan (too loud) when I'm doing Pilates and the fiftieth crunch.
I will not grunt or groan when I have so much sweat running down my face that I can't see.
I will push through the strain/pain in Pilates and stretch a little further.
I will push through the thought of quitting during aerobics when I think I can't go on.
I will pull up my workout pants and stand up tall and say, "I AM WORTH IT."
I will watch my abdominal muscles take over the fat!
I will watch my thighs become stronger!
I will try to jog/run on the treadmill.

These are the things I will/will not do to see that the fat in my body gets burned up!

Goodbye yellow fat load...

This is actually just what I needed to read this morning! After having a fairly successfuly journey so far, I have allowed myself to be rather lax lately saying "it's no big deal". You are right: It IS a big deal. Today, I declare war on the yellow stuff too. Thanks for reminding me why I am doing this!
