New Food Revelations!

Friday, December 28, 2012

I have recently made quite the food revelations about myself.

I am eating in more fat than I think.

Rice cakes are compulsive for me - a true "diet" food cuz they don't fill me up and are just sooo "airy".

I really shouldn't buy ice cream. I really need to learn to make stuff in small quantities so I won't regret buying it and then needing to "clear" it out of my kitchen, haha.

i have WAY too many indulgences in my diet than I thought

and eating 2 eggs or less - really isn't good for me cuz I end up over eating on the carbs.

and that potatoes fill me up BUT I dont' NEED them as a starch for EVERY meal, :)

so funny the realization I've come up with when I give myself time to write them up on paper. its nice to see it.

admission is the first step, right?

so . . . here's to new goals.

Very insightful. I'm trying to develop a couple "go to" filling foods for when I want to eat (and probably should not). For starters, I have two things in that category: oatmeal and freggies (fruits and veggies) but then I have to remember to clear the cupboard of stuff I shouldn't have on hand any longer. It's all such a great learning process. Great blog!

I can understand loving your potatoes. Starch is my constant companion. *sigh* good luck in your goals.

thanx so much. yes I have experimented with egg yolks, egg whites. I really do better with whole eggs and 3 of them in the morning. if its lunch or dinner, I only use 2
