Daughter - Update

Friday, December 28, 2012

Well Joselyn's ex was not going to bring Bella for Christmas so we went and got her. Now she is safe and the ball is in our court. Joselyn has an appointment to get an Order for Protection for her and Bella on Monday. We have talked to a women's shelter and per the situation explained she should have no trouble getting one.

Joe did call the police on the 26th as Bella had not yet been returned to him. My husband had agreed upon a return time of between 5-6pm...the police called my mom's house at 3:33pm. His story keeps changing and he has to communicate with Joselyn via email or thru a third party...so he is really hanging himself out to dry here! Which is good for us!!!

Her follow-up court appearance is scheduled for Jan 7th 10 am, but she has not been able to talk to her public defender. So we will see if she does next week prior to her court date. Let's hope so.

Bella seems well and not too stressed out about the whole situation at this point, so that is good. She may not even realize at this point what is happening...but she seems happy and content.

Thanks for your support and energies...this will be a struggle to get through, but should go in my daughter's favor.

Prayers for a hedge of protection to surround you all in this situation, and especially for Bella. It sounds like things are all going well at this point. Prayer for things to continue to go well and in your favor. emoticon

I'm sending you positive energy, strength, and love. Its such a stress when these t hings happen to our kids. I sort of agree with Shirley McClain, "they can't live their own lives--at least not properly." At least I know mine can't.
