I've been working out pretty regularly which feels good! My feet are still hurting me though. I've been walking 30 minutes on the treadmill and it's def a workout but at times I think I could walk longer but my feet just hurt so bad. Here I am 2 hours after finishing my workout and they are still throbbing. They hurt anytime I'm on them and I push through to get 30 minutes on the treadmill but would like to do more. I'm also riding the bike and doing water exercise so not always on the treadmill but I'm actually starting to enjoy the treadmill some so would like to be able to do more on it. Haven't figured out if it's just that I need new shoes or if at this weight my feet will just hurt until I lose some weight. May get some new walking shoes in next month or two if money works out.
There is a 5k run/3k Red Dress walk in February in my area, in honor of a friend of mine who died a few years ago, very young, from an undiagnosed heart disease.. I've never signed up for one of those before but have talked to my workout buddy and we are going to sign up for the 3k walk! I'm partially excited and even more scared..lol I think my heart and lungs could do it but worried about my feet. Several months ago I decided I wanted to do a 5k color walk and there is one in March or April in my area so decided I want to do that one but it's far enough away that I haven't had to focus on it or believe it might become reality! haha Know my legs need to be trained to work up to that and I am working on it.
I have been seeing my therapist and medicine doctor pretty regularly. I feel like we're getting the meds figured out and we are defiantly hitting lots of issues in therapy so hoping those things make some serious changes in my life.I truly think once we get through some issues in therapy that will help with my weight loss. I think I'll wind up getting out and about more and not spend so much time hiding too.
Ordered a weight watchers starter kit from ebay. I debated on spending the money..I know you can count calories for free but for some reason I find counting points so much easier so I'm going to give it a try.
On the Sapphire biggest loser challenge team again..man am I so glad Di asked me to join the team! I'm loving getting to know the ladies!! And knowing the team is counting on me helps me to stay on track..sometimes..haha It def keeps me coming to spark people more often which in turn helps me! So thanks Di!!
