Deep dark reasons for wanting to lose weight - the real mccoy

Thursday, December 27, 2012

I'm asked by spark coach today to list the reasons behind the desire to lose weight. Well it's time to get truthful with myself and others:

I don't want to be the heavyset gal in the room anylonger, the one considered lazy because after all fat means lazy. I want to MOVE. Really be able to move. I don't want to waddle around trying to make one more flight of steps while my friends bound up them with abandon.

When I look in a mirror I want to be wearing the clothes that I like not the ones that had my size available. I want to be able to smile and be proud yes proud that I overcame a lifestyle issue that had been passed down by my parents to me.

I want to live with abandon!
