closet shoping

Wednesday, December 26, 2012

Took time to clean out my closet and dressers in my bedroom today. i am glad because i found shirts i forgot about and a few pairs of pants.

i also found some stuff that was stained or torn to throw out so it is no longer taking up space or hangers.

Now i don't have to buy hangers.

I was doing the same thing yesterday. Decisions , decisions. emoticon It is a love/hate job. Love the "finds" and the "fits" and more closet space. Hate the choosing and deciding of what has to go. Having a sewing machine and some ability to alter clothing is a mixed blessing but what a Great feeling to have my closet somewhat organized. emoticon emoticon

I recently did the same and donated 2 huge bags of clothes I no longer fit or wear. I was happy I could share with a local shelter for homeless women and children. Plus, I now have room in my closet, I can actually see what is in

Plan to do the same starting with Holiday decorations etc.. it feels so good to get things organized and even better to too/give things away. less is more. less is more. I am trying to create more breathing space!

It's a fabulous feeing isn't it? we've been working on similar projects today too and I feel energized.I hate that I have to stop and go to work in the morning :( I can't imagine how much I'd get done if I could keep goingfor a few days.
