Day After Christmas Check-In

Wednesday, December 26, 2012

Well, I was just way curious what the scale would say after my duck fest complete with chocolate yule log. Guess what? I lost 6 oz. I am only 3 pounds away from my goal weight for NYE. It was not a solid goal, but I would LOVE to be 175 by NYE. I would have lost 55 pounds then. And I would be only 20 pounds away from no longer being overweight at all. WOOHOO. I am just really excited that by Christmas I was under 180. That is the lowest I have been since 2006 and when I got so depressed and went into the self harm mode. It feels great. :)

Now, back to the grindstone for a week until NYE. I am off to the gym right now for some Zumba and treadmill action. I am feeling nice and motivated today. I had such a nice Christmas. The restaurant we go to really is like a little family. Since my mom and I do not have any family here in California it is so nice that we have a restaurant we can go to that we feel like we are sharing Christmas with a close knit family.

I am still trying to decide what I want to spend my Christmas cash on. I am trying to decide between a Fit Bit (and which one I need to do the research on), and an E-reader. Decisions Decisions.

Now time to look forward to the New Year!! :D

My son gave me A Kobo touch for Christmas last year and I love it is very light and has a huge capacity for downloading books...I read in bed and take it with me when I travel .....[beats carrying a load of books.} Enjoy shopping with your Christmas loot.

    Happy New year. emoticon
