Too hot to think straight.

Sunday, December 23, 2012

When I see this, I wonder how I dare say eating right regularly is hard.
It really is just a thought which needs to be yay or nay...hard?

So true. Now just have to learn to apply these wise words.

Again....such wisdom.

Got to love this guy and its probably the same mentality I have used *shaking head at myself*

Its so darned hot here again, another blazing day up in the 40's (90's ) and it renders me useless to do anything constructive. I seriously get physically ill and become a whiner emoticon
So this one is for me. I'm definitely buying a ship load.

I hope this week ahead cools down some because my friend Carol has two elderly friends down and wants me to help her entertain them. One is a game old lady nearly 80 with barely any vision. Last year we took her to the beach etc. Basically anywhere she can hear or smell her surroundings. Her friend that has come with her this year is 84 and very overweight, which means beach walks are out. Not sure yet, how we are going to do this project. It will be interesting to see how it folds out.

Anyway for those with snow......please post me a ball or two or three before I expire. emoticon

We were in Redmond Oregon. When we first got there, no snow. By the next day, we had 3 feet! I will have to write a blog so you can see. It was so beautiful!

If we could exchange a little of our cool for some of your hot, we would all be happy.

Its hot down here in East London. Stuggling to sleep at night. Just keep yourself hydrated....that most important.

joburrg heat is making me miserable, too! we have had rain, but it only seems to raise the humidity, not cool it down!

Sorry to hear it's so hot you are uncomfortable. I like misting myselft with water while a fan blows nearby. It makes me feel cooler although I'm sure it's not likely really making me all that much cooler.

No wonder you are struggling - my friends in Barrydale said it was 42C there - that's 107.6F - they invited me to go up for a few days this coming week - ummm, thanks but no aircon in the car, busy crazy roads, I'll leave it till Autumn or Spring, thank you! Same response to my friend in Aberdeen, E.Cape - stay near my cool pool, t.v.m. 24C

    Have a good week C

Dear sister, I too suffer in the summer. We are having wicked winds and just a dusting of snow, here in Michigan. The snow will be her snow that will be snowman material. Wish I could ship you some. Love the pics.

do you water your garden? Can you water YOU along with the plants? At least get your wrists and ankles...that will help cool you. You can also freeze water in a small bottle or plastic bag and then roll it against your wrists and neck to help cool down..then refreeze it. Sorry you are sweltering.

No snow here (ok by me) but we are still getting up/down temps. Rain moving in this evening but at least it won't be ice.

    Thinking of you. emoticon
