Les Mills Combat!!!!

Saturday, December 22, 2012

I am on day 5 of Les mills Combat and those of you who don't know about Les mills Combat, it is beachbody's new workout program.Their first mixed martial arts workout designed for a total body transformation in 60 days. You'll be doing Karate/Kung Fu, Capoeira, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai/Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do and Boxing. They say you can burn up to 1,000 calories per hour but I think that depends on your weight and how deep you dig.

There are 3 calenders to follow:
5 days workout and 2 days rest
LES MILLS COMBAT SUPREME WARRIOR "Which is what I am following"
6 days workout and 1 day rest
6 days workout and 1 day rest
This is double the workout, you'll be doing to 2 workouts, like core attack, upper and lower body workouts.

My arms, legs, inner thighs and my back HURT! but it is good hurt.
Day 1 was kick start, I thought it was easy but by the next morning my sides and my butt hurt.
Day 2 was power hiit 1, this one you use weights. It was tough!
Day 3 was power kata!!! awesome workout! I was dripping in sweat and having fun at the same time. Day 4 was combat 60: Extreme Cardio fighter!! an hour long workout but I was having so much fun that it felt lik half an hour workout and I burned 678 calories!!!!!. and today was day 5! SHOCK PLYO HIIT! it was tough for me because it has a lot of lunges and I have a knee injury but I did the whole half an hour workout.
I did P90x and Insanity but they were both chore compared to Les Mills Combat. I find myself looking forward to doing the workouts and the most important part "I HAVE FUN DOING IT"
