good morning everybody! just got done doing my morning exercise. weather was bad so i did leslie on the treadmill. its a 4 miler that has some jogging in it--i have been working on adding to the jogging intervals--now that the weather is turning bad i am going to have to jog on the treadmill sometimes to keep up on my podrunner. i was very pleasantly suprised today--after doing all the extra jogging i still felt pretty good (the pace is 5 mph) so i bumped the speed to 5.5 mph and did a minute at that speed. it was intense, but certainly managable for me--and that is the fastest i have ever run on a treadmill.
the best part is i now have a goal-i would really like to get to where i can run at a sustained speed of 6 mph on my distance days. don't know how long it will take me to get there, but i think that is a doable and sustainable speed for me.
rob came home with a food dehydrator yesterday--so another new adventure to learn about along with the grain mill. lots to think about!
have a lovely day everybody.

Aww...I missed your party blog! (I read it) I'm glad it was a success!! I'm sorry you ended up with a migraine afterwards though. Those are no fun. This past week was our last week of school before the winter break. 11 days of no school...oh joy!! I was guilty of burning the candle a bit at both ends, so when those nasty germs came looking for someone to latch onto, I was there. I have a full blown sinus infection and am on antibiotics and rest. My face hurts :-( Did you get a lot of snow from that storm?? I bet it looks beautiful!!
