I have been having some rough spots with life and a cold. My last training session was not good. I was tired and it was at the end of the day.
Today was a different story.
I was anxious to get to the gym and release some stress. Work has been crazy and lots of people have been bugging me... PLUS I have a head cold or viral infection. Not sure. Doctor prescribed lots of OC drugs and a prescription cough med.
Today I felt better so I decided to go to my trainer.
This was today's workout:
30 seconds, 45 seconds, 1 minute
30 – Medicine ball slam
30 – plank
45 – Push-ups over physioball
1 minute- squat on bosu with overhead press (8lb weights)
1 minute – plank
30 – kettlebell swing
30 – mountain climbers
45 – plank to dumbbell row
45 –mountain climbers
1 minute – alternating lunges with overhead press
1 minute – mountain climbers
30 – alternating bicep curls
30 – single arm kettlbell swings (30 seconds per side)
45 – alternating forward lunges on bosu
45 – lateral jumps over bosu
1 minute – Full extensions (Medicine Ball in hand)
1 minute - Burpees
My weakest points in this workout were the mountain climbers and burpees. The 1 minute seemed like an eternity and my legs were getting tired. Other than that I held my own.
My next training session isn't for more than a week due to Christmas. Today I asked her for a couple of my past sessions so I could stay sharp. She sent me 5. I don't think I'll do them all during the break but we'll see!
