I started a blog earlier this week talking about things I am thankful for and am thinking of continuing that here today.

While at lunch I was reading an article regarding romantic gestures which reminded me of DH. I am so very thankful for him. His sense of humor, his ability to almost always make me giggle or smile or laugh. He sends me a "Good Morning" text every day while he is on the road. He also sends a daily email to my work email while away and home. They are little gestures but they mean so much because of the time he took to send them and the message each image conveys.

I am also thankful for my mom. She is getting older, late 60's, is of a more closed minded generation yet thanks to my DD she strives to understand the new generation and be less locked in societies box. She has always put us girls and now the grandkids first and herself last regarding most things however as of late she has been focusing more on herself which I appreciate. It is hard to see your parent go without once you are able to take of yourself for the most part. Her sense of humor, her cooking style, her obstinant ways and her funny faces.

I'm off to spend time with DH and move a few more items from storage. Night all

    Great blog.

We all have so much to be thankful for. It's nice to stop & take the time to think about what matters most and be grateful for them.
