Girl Stuff....

Whatever you want to call it...aunt Flo, TOM, crimson tide....the older I get and now being off the pill due to blood clots after my broken ankle...had a Jadelle implanted and love it...but dang!!! I finally have all the symptoms everyone complained about but I personally never experienced. I am soooooooooooooooooo hungry all the time (abnormal for me), 1 whole day on couch each time and staying close to the Lil girls room...and of course exhausted with the Huge blood loss on top of having Fibro and chronic fatigue....I keep fighting it, but finally just gave in and had some chips and chocolate tonight and honestly, I feel better! No guilt at all. Just want this unwanted guest to get the hell out so I can get back to me and my goals!
And that's pretty much my headspace today! :) trying to get active everyday which has been nice and calming as well.

I would eat a piece of dark chocolate and if it's painful, take Advil or Tylenol. Cuddle up with a hot water bottle and take it easy for the evening. maybe tomorrow will be better.

Yeah, why does birth control ALWAYS fall 100% on women. And then its miserable to boot? I have mirena and it has been horrible. Worst cramps of my life. And raging PMS (hunger, bloating, irritability). Stupid baby maker!

I'm very glad you identified the reasons behind your cravings and managed them intelligently! emoticon

This is me, but almost every day! Since I was put on the pill after a burst cyst sent me to the hospital, every day I take the pills, I'm sick a few hours after I ingest the darn things. No matter where I'm supposed to be in the cycle. The first few months I spotted like crazy and had full periods on week 3 instead of 4, and the first month I'm not sick as heck from my pills, everything is changed and now, it's halfway through week 4 and I've barely had a period at all. Being female sucks some times, doesn't it? Stay strong! It'll be over soon! (Added bonus: our metabolisms rev up a bit slightly before it's due- which means typically if you can control the cravings, faster weight loss... and if you can't, less weight gain!)
