I sure do like food.

Last night's party was fun...and I ate way too much. I did try to fill up on fruits and veggies before the real hors d'oeuvres came out, but of course fruits can run high on calories too. And then I still wanted to sample everything, and "everything" included crab cakes, baked brie in puff pastry, chicken skewers, some sort of super-rich ham quiche thing, swedish meatballs, sweet and sour meatballs, egg rolls, and a whooooole lotta desserts. I tried to take small amounts (like I only had 1 of each kind of meatball, with no extra sauce), and share with my husband. But that baked Brie was so good, and that quiche thing was good, and those crab cakes were good....I had more than a couple bites of those. :)
Oh well. It was tasty. I ate healthfully the rest of the day. I *did* eat a lot of fruits and veggies before getting into the less healthy stuff. And today was a healthy food day.
I tried a new fish! Flounder, this time. It was pretty good. Not as good as cod or salmon, which I love, but it was still good. I used the "Mediterranean Baked Fish" recipe from SparkRecipes - yum!
I just love food so much. :)
