Lets recap on last 3 weeks....
Started new job
Sprained my ankle
Got health insurance
Love my job
Well, lets start at the top. I started my new job at PNC bank as a teller. I absolutely love the job. The whole atmosphere is awesome. I feel like part of a family and no matter how my day pans out, I still leave feeling like I had a great day. With this job I also got onto health, dental, and vision insurance. Glad to have it.
Unfortunately, I've gained about 5lbs, but I'm not stressed. I believe it was due to this week. I've been entirely sedatary due to the ankle and have eaten out quite often this week.
I weighed in at 230.5 lbs, and am making myself accountable. I've signed up for multiple health and fitness resources through my job and will be working out all this week. I hope to lose the 5lbs I gained. :)
Now onto the ankle. I sprained it last Saturday while lightly jogging out to my car. Don't know how I tripped over flat pavement, I just know I tripped. My ankle immediately swelled and has been extremely tender since. A trip to the E.R. and some ace wrap and crutches later, it's slowly healing. I've got ice packs on it and I'm able to somewhat walk somewhat normal. Hopefully within the next couple weeks I'll be back to normal and I'll be starting my walk to 5k again.
Past that mess, I'll be working on mostly upper body and core until my ankle strength returns. Then from that I'm back to full body!
I'll try to post something tomorrow.
Till then, semper fi future marines! And good day to my friends!
