165 Minutes Cardio Today

Saturday, December 15, 2012

This was a great day.

It started with a good bike ride to the gym. Then a very intense one hour Power Yoga class followed by half an hour on the elliptical machine and 10 minutes on the Top bike. Then I went to the sauna and relaxed for a while till I received a call from a friend of mine who was having difficulties with her partner. I told her we could meet at my gym.

She came on her car and we drove my bike back home where I changed bags and took the groceries I had already bought to go have dinner with my friend Carlos in Rotterdam. Fiona, the friend who picked me up in her car, knows Carlos too. She decided to join me paying him a visit. I had already plans to go to the Buddhist temple before going to Carlos'. She kept me company and we had a great walk in the city from the place we left the car across the northern waterway of Amsterdam including a lovely trip on the little boat we use to cross that waterway to get to the center.

Fiona also told me she had neglected a friend of us and she did not know what to do to retake contact with him. She did not know what to say... I said: 'You do not say anything. You just come with me for a coffee with him and that's it'. We did so. We just dropped to his place on our way to Rotterdam and we had a coffee with him. It was like in the old days. Perfect.

After that we drove to Carlos' place where we had and improvised dinner and some treats. I have not done yet my complete calorie count. I believe I might be a bit above my allowance. Nevertheless, seeing my three friends being happy and spending such a quality time with them is worth it. Besides having exercised 165 minutes and burned 1400 extra calories might allow me to get above my calorie intake range.

I love days like this one...
