Day 12: Fancy salad day!

I'm holding steady at 260 pounds/40 lost.

I had a great swim last night, plus discovered the gym is having a half price day pass special, so I got half my money back! They also told me you can buy several passes and stock them up under your name. So I'm going to buy myself 3 half price ones for next week as a happy early holidays present to myself of MOAR SWIMMING YESH YESH YESH!

I was hoping to get in more like 50 minutes yesterday, but I was not alone in the pool this time. Sadness, haha. The rule is 30 minutes lap swim per person. There was someone in the other lane too, so when someone came in at the 40 minute mark I said I've had my half hour I'll get out. Don't wanna get KICKED out!

I'm still working out when are the best times for sneaking extra long swims, but once I join it won't be a problem because I can just do 30 minutes on 2 days instead of trying to get 50-60 on one.

Then I went home and showered and made Fancy Salad. It had arugula and horseradish dressing, so OMG SPICY. I think next time I will do arugula with non spicy dressing, or non spicy lettuce with spicy dressing, but not both. Also cranberries, and the smelly mushrooms mentioned in my status update (yum taste, yuck smell) and I added lentils for extra fiber and protein. Yum.

I'm doing pretty well with veggies and water, not always hitting the stretch goal for fiber but that's okay. I had a lower sodium day yesterday to counter my high sodium Tuesday, which was nice.

PT is going well. Hip is still sore on and off but I think it's helping. Maybe it's too early to tell but I'll keep at it.

I am kind of glad it is Thursday and not Friday, because this weekend is going to be insanely busy to the point that I am kind of NOT looking forward to it right now.

    I'm still getting my pool time 3 days a week, thanks to Hubs' mom (she's SO cool!) And enjoying every minute of it before the next surgery! I will be out of the water for at least 6 weeks after emoticon but I will have both new knees! emoticon

    And I am amazed at how much you are on top of things! I get confused too easily to keep track of prior months like that, I do well to keep track of the current day! emoticon But as long as we are getting into smaller pants and the scales are going down- YIPPEEE!!

    I LOVE SPICY so yummmm.
    I love swimming too. I just have trouble getting up at 5:30 am, which is the best time to do it. emoticon
