Well, I guess today is my "Cheat" day

Tuesday, December 11, 2012

Let the craziness continue. Went into the office today for a mid-morning meeting. Canceled 5 minutes before start time. May be rescheduled for later in the day, so I stick around the office all day. I had planned to be home by lunchtime, but since I stayed at the office - ended up going out to lunch. I could have made a much healthier choice, but I didn't: bacon cheeseburger and fries and 1 glass of iced tea. Kudos to me for not ordering an appetizer or dessert. emoticon So, I felt bad - guilty about my lunch. Had every intention of leaving work early and going to the gym. Throughout my entire commute, which is 45 minutes, I'm thinking, "I'm going to the gym, I'm going to the gym." Walked in the door and nope. Started picking up around the house, then just got in my pj's and fluffy robe. Had every intention of eating the healthy dinner planned. Nope. Indulged in a guilty pleasure: grilled cheese. Strange thing is, it didn't give me much pleasure - I didn't really enjoy eating it. Bright side, I didn't snack at all today and I've drank about 3 bottles of water.

The deal was I could have grilled cheese tonight IF I eat a salad for lunch tomorrow and the healthy dinner planned and went to the gym. Will keep you posted.

Am just feeling really full and blah right now. Wish I hadn't eaten the grilled cheese. Oh well, I will know better next time.

We all have days like these - ones that start with good intentions and end with "what the heck just happened?!?". The important thing is that you pick yourself back up and continue in the right direction TOMORROW. You can do this!
