Busy But Not Sure What I Am Accomplishing!

Tuesday, December 11, 2012

Do you ever have days where you are so busy you can hardly think straight and yet you have no clue what was accomplished after being so busy? Well that was yesterday for me.

We didn't have piano lessons since my daughter's piano instructor is sick with the flu so you would think I would accomplish more since I didn't have to go out, but it was not that way at all.

I did straighten out my pantry because I wanted to get some canned goods together to pay some fees at one library we go to (we got them because my husband took them to the wrong library in a different county and by the time they got to the right place they were beyond late). I had to straighten up my pantry to see what I had so that took quite a bit of time.

Of course we had school to do, I had clothes to wash, coupons to cut out (haven't filed them), gifts to buy online (thank goodness for the internet), meals to cook, etc.

We took the canned goods to one library and of course checked out books (I'm lucky because my daughter loves to read like I do) and then headed to the next library where I found out they were having a teen event that I didn't know about and so she stayed for that while I rushed home, checked on the laundry and other things and then headed back out to pick her up afterwards.

That might not sound like a lot but I feel like I barely had time to breathe so the day got away from me in no time.

Tomorrow we're going to be super busy with a homeschool event, piano lessons (since my daughter's teacher had to reschedule), and running errands so I hope to get my fridge straightened out, the rest of my kitchen straightened out since I still have pantry items that I need to find a place for, etc. today.

At some point in this crazy busy holiday time I hope to start cooking the recipes I have pinned on Pinterest but am hoping that is soon since Christmas is almost here, LOL.
