Can someone help motivate me?

I don't know how many times I have to re motivate re direct and restart myself.
But here I go again.!
I have been eating poorly and not exercising. I feel like crap!
I really want this. Soo why do I keep falling backwards???
Why dont exercise feel good to me? A lot of people say that it makes them feel like their doing something for themselves, It feels like another chore to me. Something else to cram into a busy day. Im tired. I want a magic solution.... YES I know that there is none! Believe me I have tried them. How do I make this feel GOOD. How do I want it enough?
What motivates YOU?
I need a better plan!
HELP ME, I dont want to fail yet again!

My friend, I wish I could give you the magic solution you want. We all want it. In my book, motivation is not required. It comes and goes, like a fickle friend. I have always felt like exercise is one big ole chore. Even after years of doing it, it is still that. I did try zumba and finally found something that was fun for me, but the instructor stopped doing it and so I have to get off my back end and find another class.....another chore added to the list.
When I have periods like you are feeling right now, I just try and concentrate on the day before me, and usually have to take that in segments, too. And, I have many false starts, but eventually, I get one good day going, the hardest day of all. The next day is usually easier. We sparkers just push through the tough days as best we can. Some go great, others less great. I notice when I can do that, I feel better about myself, and I am grateful for this positive force in my life.

Take some time, sit down and think of activities that you would enjoy doing. Even if you have never done it before. Start small and go baby steps, it takes time . Go one day at a time. Even if you fail one day start over the next. You can do this. Yes you can. God bless.

I got sick and tired of being sick and tired of trying on 6 outfits before I went anywhere. Up and down, up and down, up and down gaining and losing. I started getting up an hour early and exercised, tracked my food and got on SparkPeople day in and day out. The other day when I was shopping with my 30 year old daughter I asked if she thought I should get a Small or a Medium and she said "a small mom, you are pretty little". I have been in maintenance for over 2 years. I still get up early and track my food daily. Now over the years, I have heard people snicker and make comments on my weight when it would be "up there". Nothing tastes as good as feeling thin feels. I do eat desserts, I do go over, I don't beat myself up and I just do it. You can do this, I believe in you. Write me.
