The next day...

What does one do the day after a half marathon? Well I walked 12 miles today, and Cooper walked 11.4 miles of that with me. I thought my feet would be sore today after my epic outings yesterday, but they weren't really bad. Nope, it was my glutes that were sore. Must be from running up all those hills yesterday. I thought that walking the dog more would settle him down a little this evening, but he is kind of wired. I don't know what his deal is. For over a year he has been fairly calm, but that seems to be changing. I want my calm pup back. I will walk him a lot again tomorrow and hopefully two high mileage days will tire him out.

I did much better with food today. No middle of the night snack attack, which helped a lot. My nutrients were in good proportions, and I stayed within my calorie range.

Oh, here is a cool NSV... I ordered a pair of leggings and a skirt online in size medium. The cool part is that they comfortably fit me. I don't think I have fit in medium anything since my freshman year of college. Nothing earth shattering, just a feel good moment.

Good for you on the walking! I agree with DOGLADY13 on a possible cause of Cooper's behavior change. Neutered males are so much sweeter and better pets in my experience. They are less apt to roam too. Good luck! Cooper sounds like a keeper to me!

I love being able to wear clothes that were unthinkable a couple of years ago. It usually means that I feel more attractive and more comfortable in my skin.

Has Cooper been neutered. My Cocker Spaniels were "intact" and the alpha dog started in with weird behavior that I later learned was him trying to take my position in the pack. I spent a long time re-training him. BIGPAWSUP is the animal expert, though.
