Hi everyone. I am rejoycing after talking with the nurse at my Dr.s office today. The x-ray report was pneumonia or infection. It did show my asthma/copd, which we already knew about of course. I also don't have any conjestive heart disease, so that's good too. My Mom died of conjestive heart disease. So thanks for all your prayers. I knew they would work. God is good.

I am stil coughing but it seems to be a lot less and I am no longer wheezing like I was. There is some but I sound a whole lot better. Think I'll make it now. We won't have to have Christmas any earlier than it is going to be! I am still not going back to church this Sunday though. One more weekend home and then I think I can go back next Sunday. I won't be singing any time soon though. I have no singing voice at all at the present moment. I'm just taking it one day at a time and keeping on my antibiotic and cough syrup with codeine. My last prednisone will be Sunday. Then we'll see how I do.

Did laundry today and didn't get tired so that's a good sign. Tomorrow I'll finish writing out the cards I'll be sending to my church friends, put stamps on all the envelopes, and mail the cards next week. We've already received a few cards.

Max says hi and wonderes if you saw his pictures on top of the refrig and the one by the pointsettia. Seems like he now just discovered he can jump on the counter, onto the micro wave and to the top of the frig. He doesn't stay on the counter becasue he knows he's not allowed up there. He is a smart cat.

So glad to learn you are doing so much better. It sounds as though you are healing and growing stronger. It must be a load off your mind to know that there was nothing serious. Prayer is extremely powerful.
I love the pictures of your cats. They are smart, and will soon learn their boundaries.
(They will test them a bit at times.) emoticon

I really enjoyed your blog today and I am so happy that you are healing. It is hard to get over bronchitis when one has asthma/COPD. emoticon
Of my cats, Baby is the climber and he sends his love to Max. emoticon Have a GREAT day! emoticon Chelsea

Thankful to hear of good news from Dr. Are you eating lots of homemade chicken soup with lots of onion and garlic in it? That is our standard cold/cough/congestion remedy and since DH got diagnoses with COPD and adult asthma, i put onion in everything I cook and garlic when i can get away with it...DH is not as fond of that taste as of good sweet onions.

I delight in your comments on my Advent blogs and really want to get to know you better so I am off to read more of your blogs

I'm so glad you are doing better!

Our Max likes to sit on top of the microwave. He knows the catnip bag is in the cabinet right there. If I don't have the cabinet tightly closed, he will work it open and fish out the catnip.

    Have a great weekend!

    Hi Elayne,

I am so glad to hear you got good news from the doctor. I hope you continue to improve and that you will be feeling even better. I think it is wise to still have a break from church, just to give yourself more time for recovery.

And yes, Max, I have seen the photos of you on the fridge! I bet you love watching over your domain. Remember to be a good boy so Santa comes to visit you!!

Hugs and blessings to you all, Nattacia

Max is definitely a very smart cat to figure out how to get where he wants to be and to stay off the counter except as needed to get to his destination!!! Hugs and kitty rubs to you Max!!! So glad you are listening to your momma.

Glad to hear you are starting to feel better. Max is a smart cat to figure out how to get on the fridge. My Pixie learned the same thing. She is a Tortie and is full of energy and being a year old, chases after Gibson who is 14 and a Maincoon. He runs away from her growning all the way. She wants to play and he says go away. emoticon
