5K's and Updates

It's been a while since I've been on SparkPeople. I seem to go through stages where I don't stay active on here, which usually means I'm not exercising or eating well either. I wanted to update this though, because I did something I am very proud of.

I completed 3 5K's between April and August! Each time, I got a little faster. It was amazing. I had a running partner for 2 of the 5K's and my husband was very supportive, even though he could only make it to my first 5K. I would have done one more (I was signed up and everything), but I was really sick on the day of the race so I didn't do it.

I'm currently in rehearsals for a musical. The dancing is simple, but in 3 weeks, I've already lost 4 pounds. That's without changing my diet. Now, I'm working on adjusting my diet again and I've forgotten how much I enjoy eating healthy foods. I'm fuller longer, and just feel better.
