I am disappointed! Why you may say? Because i didnt realize how great exercise could be. I spent so much time ignoring it that i didnt realize what i was missing. Now i realize i was missing alot.
Whats everyone view on Organic vs Non-Organic? I am unsure... I must educate myself....
Hit the gym 2 days in a row feeling pretty stoked.... Loving it....

I totally agree about the joy of exercise. My rule of thumb is if I eat the skin of the fruit of vegetable, I try and buy organic. I am blessed to live in Southern California so we have farmers markets year round. Shopping there saves quite a bit. It is a personal decision. For me, having grown up on a farm, I want to do what I feel is best for the farmer and the environment. Yet, I roll my eyes when I see "organic cookies." Usually most commercially produced cookies are processed. I was say if you have to choose between fresh non-organic or organic and canned/frozen. Pick the fresh. If cost is an issue choose to eat healthier whole foods rather than junk. Do what is best for you and your family.
One handout that I have often seen is "the dirty dozen". It is the most pesticide laden foods. Most friends I know on really tight budgets will only buy organic for these particular foods and purchase conventional for everything else.
    Blessings on your journey.

So glad to hear you are finding a love for exercise. I think sometimes we look at some of the difficult aspects to exercise. For example, with me, that would be crunches. I hate them. But I don't have to do them either! There are plenty of forms of exercise I do love. We need to do what works best for us.

As for the organic. In the world of weight loss, I don't think it makes a big difference. And honestly, organic can be expensive. I only get it if it happens to be cheapest in the category of whatever I am buying. Fresh is best, regardless.

Don't spend too much time regretting the past but think of all you have to look forward too because you've discovered exercise. It took me 54 years to discover exercise and real fitness. Too long really but I'm here now looking forward to another 5 km challenge, enjoying my time at the gym/pool 5 times a week, and looking for ways to bring it up a notch. Glad you've discovered the joy of exercising. Let's keep it going.
