Ride-Against-Hunger (RAH) Dec. 2, 2012

What an amazing weekend. We surpassed all of our expectations with 5900 lbs of non-perishable food and $783.00 in cash donations (not including what our meeting-site collected). All in all with the cash conversion to pounds, we totaled more than 6000 lbs of food that equals approximately 4,425 meals. Once we get all the numbers, we will post the final totals on our website (

This was a humbling and satisfying experience that proves once again that when motorcyclist (Bikers) put their minds and efforts to a good cause, nothing can stop us!

This is only the beginning! Stay tuned for we are going to sit down and begin to lay out the plans for future rides and events that not only will bring us together for a good cause... but will be FUN and REWARDING!
RAH is here to stay and will continue to work with our partner Oregon Food Bank, the biker community and other deserving charities who will begin to know that when the need is greatest... the great American Biker will step up, kick their machines into life and make a difference for those who are in their time of greatest need and charity!

Look for 2013!!!

There will be so many people that appreciate your efforts at this time of year. I just can't imagine being hungry and not having food. So many of our clients are like that and get food boxes from OFB. On their behalf and all the others, Thank You so much to all the RAH participants!

Love the picture of your bike!!

And, thank you so much for your time helping collect foods for the needy. Am sure the blessings you receive will completely outweigh all you sacrifice. You are truly a blessing to many!
