After a rare week off from biking (2 weeks ago), I re-started last week and began my 2013 Training Plan. Sure felt great to be on my Cervelo again. On Saturday I rode in what will most likely be my last Organized Ride for 2012. A 55-mile ride. It was the perfect 60-degree cloudy day. I rode hard and stayed up front with most of the big boys. At the end, it was two of us challenging each other and hitting 21+ MPH. I moved quite a bit ahead of my challenger, but unfortunately a red light stopped my momentum, but kept his intact. I tried hard to catch that little sucker, to no avail. But, it was a great ride and a worthy farewell to the 2012 Organized Ride Schedule. HOOAAA!!

Great way to end the year!!! Way to go!

I remembered you recommended the Katy Flatlands. I'll try to fit that in, but once school is out my training becomes just the weekends or a little bit in early mornings. Plus we travel, etc, so I'm better off finding an initial century during the shcool year. But, again, hope I can do Katy, too!!!
