Took My Teenage Daughter Clothes Shopping Yesterday!!!

Sunday, December 02, 2012

Yesterday I literally shopped from morning til night. I met a friend at two different stores so we could buy items for our upcoming homeschool Christmas party and my daughter came with us. We later went (my daughter and I) to a craft store (where she literally stayed hours looking at craft stuff) and also shopped for some winter clothes for her.

Let's just say that I am NOT prepared to go clothes shopping with a teenage girl after shopping at other stores before that. I was literally almost too exhausted to get into bed last night once we finally got home, LOL.

We did manage to find a few things at Kohl's that were on sale and I also used a 20% off discount too. Hopefully that will be holding her for awhile as I felt I needed someone to push me around after walking out of the dressing room about 7 times and back with different sizes, etc. emoticon

Today I have been cooking and cleaning a lot but need to run to a few other stores that I didn't get to yesterday!!!

That's too funny although I'm sure it wasn't funny for you. My daughter is VERY conservative to the point she doesn't even like sparkly things. I had to convince her that sparkly is what we wear this time of year! emoticon

I think I'd rather have a root canal than take a teenager clothes shopping. The last time I did was with my sister and her granddaughter. It was awful. She kept insisting on buying clothes that were WAY too tight. She wanted everything dark and depressing. She would not even consider anything we pointed out.

It was fun, but very exhausting, LOL.
