Yesterday.....Fun Day

Sunday, December 02, 2012

Yesterday my daughter and I went to Toledo and did some major shopping (only 12 hours) and had such a good time. emoticon We went to stores we don't normally get to go to when hubby goes with me. emoticon I found a few gifts for Christmas and we got to have some nice long talks that I have been wanting to have with her. We also got our lunch free at The Olive Garden. emoticon We sat and sat and sat. When we finally really started wondering if they forgot us the waitress told us the kitchen lost our ticket. Then the manager came over and explained the situation and told us lunch was on them. emoticon (And I only ordered soup and salad) When they walked away I told Miranda I should have ordered more or something a bit more expensive. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
Well anyway we had a great time. The only downfall was I gained a pound. emoticon What a disappointment! Today we are all going to Fort Wayne and see my brother-in-law that is in the hospital and then we are going to all split up, some of us are going shopping and some are going to come home. I know Miranda and I are going to go shopping and I think my son is going to go with us also. emoticon
I am so excited about what I have decided to get Brandan for Christmas. emoticon I found a really good book I hope he can get into and I also found some more books by Vince Flynn for him on my Book Swap page. So I am getting two of them for free. emoticon I also got him some new running shoes and a new sweat suit that is rain resistant.
I still have quite a bit more Christmas shopping to do but I will get it done. emoticon Well I hope everyone has a great day, week or month. Talk to you later.
