Being A Crown to My Husband

Sunday, December 02, 2012

The Bible says that a discreet woman is valuable, and that I am to be a crown to my Husband. Tonight, we had a disagreement and I didn't yell; I caught myself starting to yell. I cried while I told him what I had to say, but then he pointed out something I was doing to worsen the situation we were discussing. I thanked him for bringing that to my attention and I told him I was sorry for not even seeing it in the first place, because it is a really big part of the equation.

Anyway, I don't know if I was a crown to him, but I did treat him well and that's good.

Isn't it hard not to express yourself loudly? I found myself yelling today to make myself understood. My husband thinks I am funny when I yell; so what's the point. Yes, emoticon we are to be a crown and a Proverbs 31 woman - keep up the good work toward the mark.
