You can pick your friends but relatives..well.....

Saturday, December 01, 2012

at the holidays we might have to mingle with some relatives that rub us the wrong way and vice verse.

I have had that happen to me. I went looking for advice about that and came up with this website.

I hope it helps someone in spark land. Chris

Thank you for this article! My family is gasoline and matches during the holidays. The only way I know how to deal with it is to have gasoline come one holiday and matches to come the other.

Thank you for the article. None of my sisters or brother speak to me so I don't really have to worry about them too much.

I face irritation from relatives close and not so close quite often, all year round. Sometimes they drive me up the wall but I can't do anything about it but just try to let it go. Otherwise I'll go crazy!

Great article. My husband and I both feel the same way about the holiday gatherings. We have the advantage of using it as "our" time and will often take a short trip just to be together. We make sure to spend quality time with our family outside of the traditional holiday gatherings. It has worked very well for us.

    Good luck on your journey!
