Home From the Hospital!

Well no fitness or nutrition blogs for me this week-
We just returned home for the children's hospital. My son was very sick and was diagnosed with an incredibly bad bout of pneumonia! NOT FUN!
Thankfully my husband was able to fly home and in the meantime my mother in law was able to be with me to help take care of my daughter while they ER doctors tried frantically to figure out what was wrong with my son.
Its been a LONG and rough last couple of days. He is not better quite yet but able to finally keep water down so we were discharged this afternoon...THANKFULLY!
I am off to take care of him and possibly get some rest myself. Turns out when they are monitoring your sons oxygen levels throughout the night and a little alarm beeps when it gets too low you sleep very little (about 2 hours).
BUT I am thankful for such amazing doctors, amazing family members, and for being able to bring my son home. I know there are other parents out there that are not so lucky!
I hope everyone else is having a good week and I hope to be back on track next week!

Awe, just seeing this! I hope your son is feeling better!! I know the feeling of being with your little ones in a hospital... It is something else, that tolls on our emotions as moms that cannot be compared to anything.
Hope this week is finding you doing and feeling better as well!
