Yesterday/Today Day 2/3

Friday, November 30, 2012

At this moment I am happy and determined because in the 2 1/2 days so far, i'm making baby steps. (Its like I have fell of the track, but piece by piece my train will be moving right along). I may not be at my potential fitness level at this moment but I am happy that my mind set feels like I could do anything.

Yesterday, I came home 6:45pm-7 ish-Fed Eliza, gave her a bath, dressed her and gave her (her night time bottle. Put her in the play pin, went down stairs to put clothes to wash. Pacing back and forth, looking at the time to see if I should get a work out in. ARGGHHH!!!!. A little voice inside me said NO, its too late.. just call it a night. But it was like my body knew what needed to be done. I found myself walking to my bedroom putting on my work out clothes. I walked back into the living room and Eliza had this tiny smile, like mommy you can do this. As I pushed play and Tony came across the screen, she gave me another smile but bigger this time.
I was focused while doing my warm up, jumping jacks, lunges, pray squats, running in place. I look over at her and she was trying to do what she saw her mommy doing. I laughed but it gave me fuel to keep going. DAMN, doing plyometrics was hard this time but again I did not give up. 7:50pm, I started and 8:35pm, I stopped. Looked over at Eliza, and baby girl was sound of sleep. (I guess I tired her out) I had skipped the bonus round. I got in a good work out, definitely felt it. Next, week I'll be sure to do the bonus round.
