Global Warming strikes again!

Friday, November 30, 2012

It's time for the annual Webelos Winter Weekend - the one Cub Scout event in which I DO NOT participate.

For eight years straight, the local scouts have gone out for a 3-day adventure and have come home with their "Polar Bear" award - given for spending a night camping in weather that reaches -1 F.

Not this year. Weather.com predicts low temperatures above freezing the whole weekend.

Yet another "Polar bear" casualty.

We are wondering if there's enough snow this year to build the backyard igloo. We used to have one three and two winters ago.Hubby and kids slept there. But winter in Pennsylvania is always unpredictable.
Wishing you luck with cold! emoticon

That's too bad for the kids. My husband and I were just wondering if there will be a winter this year (Ohio)--it's looking suspect as it'll get into the 60's by the weekend. Yech...rather have the cold! Have a great weekend!
