Not real applicable.
I have not "failed" in the sense that I have no indulged in mindless binging and I have managed to fit in some workout time.
This being the week that I got to pull triple duty at work I was expecting worse.

I have not "won" in the fact that I still have been indiscrete with the carb goodies and have not worked as hard on my fitness as I could of. Also had a couple to o many beers last night.

Still when I was expecting to completely lose my mind and my self control this week I can say that things have gone better than expected.

No really, sometimes that is enough.

I am going to have a somewhat indulgent weekend too, but still try not go overboard.

Next week, crack the whip on me.

Update 11/30/12 3:15pm: Managed to get a good brisk walk at lunch. It was the despised boss that went with me but I decided i favor of health over spite.
2.1 miles 29 minutes.

Not an intense workout but I feel better about the fact that tonight will be rather sedintary

emoticon My toes are now poking through the top of my sneakers... I really need new workout shoes.

You did not fail.. you where living life this week and life comes at you fast and one thing I have learned that there is no reason to dwell on the past only look forward.. one thing for sure is you can start new anytime you want next meal, next day, next month next year it is up to you..

You asked for it . . . YOU DID NOT FAIL. YOU DID HAVE SOME SUCCESSES and did better than you MIGHT have in the past. The ONE MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember this weekend when you are INDULGING - since you have made a choice to indulge, ENJOY IT. It is REALLY SAD when you don't even ENJOY your indulgences.

Once again great attitude. It is good to know what is going on so you can prepare for it. I like that you already realize this weekend will not be perfect. Crack that whip on Monday. I will be doing the same.

You are absolutely right. Sometimes that IS enough. Sometimes it's all we can do to hold the ground we've won and maintain before pushing forward again. Get some rest, try not to go crazy on the emotional eating, and start fresh when the storm has subsided. Catching up on rest will help you feel better and so will some mind numbing...
