Update: 2 Weeks to go!

Friday, November 30, 2012

We are almost there! A little more than two weeks until our due date! Hooray!

I'm sorry I've been MIA for so long! School has been really crazy this year (in a good way) and I have been sooo tired! When I spend a lot of time on Spark it is really hard for me to not track my calories. My doctor does NOT want me counting calories or stressing over weight gain. So I have been on Spark sporadically. I have gained a very healthy 38 pounds and my doctor is pleased. I am definitely all belly and constantly get comments on how small I am and is your baby growing properly? You are so tiny! It gets really annoying. I promise baby is about 6 pounds and I get an ultrasound every one-two weeks, so we are carefully watched.

This pregnancy has been really easy! I didn't have a lot of side effects and my weekly 17p shots (which my husband gave me!) weren't even very painful. Baby is a gymnast... she was breech for most of the pregnancy, turned at 35 weeks and turned back to breech at 37 weeks! Stinker! So on Tuesday during our next ultrasound we will get to see if she turned back. If not, we will schedule an ECV for the following week to try to turn her. We will most likely have her that day!

It seems so close yet so far away. Please be praying for an uneventful next couple weeks and that she turns on her own. I am ready to get back to my regular exercise routine (of course after I am cleared for exercise) and get back to my goal weight.

I can't wait to hold her and snuggle and learn how to parent with my wonderful husband!

Blessings to you all!

I think that when things have gone wrong in the past, it is a lot tougher to envision them ever going right. I didn't set up a nursery until after I actually had my son home. I couldn't see that far ahead. Having a little girl in your home is going to be the most incredible thing ever. I hope you have a wonderful delivery.

I am so glad to hear that everything is going great! I think you've done great with not gaining too much! I bet you'll take it off fast, especially if you breastfeed. I will be thinking of you. Can't wait to see a photo of that baby! :)

emoticon emoticon on the baby being here real soon. I just turned a grandmother on the 25th of October. Wishing you and your little one and husband the best of everything. Enjoy every minute of it. I'm sure that you will. emoticon can't wait to check in and see how your doing!! Continued success on your journey of getting fit/healthy/happy and of course motherhood. Don't stress over weight it will all fit into place after the little one gets here. My daughter was small and ended up with a 8lb/8oz baby. (couldn't believe that one myself) as long as you know you two are healthy that's all that matters (daddy too!) Have a great day! emoticon emoticon emoticon Judy
