My holiday season so far

Thanksgiving was pretty nice. Ryan's mom had a traditional one for me. I didn't go overboard eating luckily.. I stuck to eating carrots while she was cooking. So by the time she was done I was pretty full. I did tiny portions to of everything. Just took a normal spoonful of things... So it was like tiny balls but a variety of things. Now as for the stuffing I took a good amount but hers was really sweet so didn't eat a giant bowl full! It was good but sweet stuffing is odd.

I made Ryan his favorite breakfast dish for Thanksgiving. It is pretty good but I only took a small bite. I'm pretty sure its not healthy

It is a cinnamon roll french toast kind of thing. I usually do not add the Powdered Sugar but Ryan really wanted me to add it this time. I'm more than glad to give the recipe if anybody want's it. I don't have kids but the little ones in his family seemed to LOVE it.

I also made Snicker Doodle Bread for it. His family adores it!!! I may have to charge b/c they keep asking me to make more. If only they knew how big of a pain in the butt it was to make.

Now I just have to make it for a few of my friends back home. They are sad I live so far for the Holiday season b/c I bake for everybody. I bake like crazy in December for them. They have left me requests on facebook! So I will be making more bread, ginger bread men, chocolate chip cookies, snicker doodle cookies, and hot cocoa truffle balls (All you do is drop them in warm milk).

I make everything from scratch so I better have nice arms by the end of this season. I will also take photos of my creations. Now Saturday is Ryan's big 24!! And he has requested a Red Velvet Cake... My weakness in cakes!!! Now I have attempted this cake from scratch twice... talk about my enemy!!! But Ryan is worth the pain of this cake. Maybe I will secretly buy box cake and hide the evidence

The saddest part about all this baking will be the temptation of eating it. But my goal is to make just enough for friends and have no left overs for myself. Ryan can suck it up on not getting all the Christmas goodies :).

Much love everybody!! And Happy Holidays!!!
