Holiday weight loss

I know it's crazy, but I want to tackle these last 10 lbs during the holiday season! I'm going on a trip to CA in January, so it would be GREAT if I could accomplish this! I'm done nursing now, and my body is starting to get back to normal after baby #4. He's 10 months old!
My plan is to limit my calorie intake by eating more fruits and veggies, less meat, and to keep up with running and some strength training.
