I survived Thanksgiving! I ate a little bit of everything - well, OK, a bit more of Mom's stuffing, but it's a once a year thing, so I had to indulge a little. Had some room hours later for choloate cream pie - yum! It's great to eat these things so infrequently that when I do eat it, I really enjoy it more. It was great, and I wasn't stuffed with an upset stomach like I used to.

I've been busy lately, and not online as much. I've just about had it with all these doctor's appointments - but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I just want them to figure out what the heck is wrong with me. Next Thursday is my endoscopy, that should be about as fun as it was last year - lol!

I've been doing a lot of reading, which has kept me offline too. I just get so wrapped up in my reading that I lose track of time. It's a great escape and way to cope with all the medical crap that's been going on. Now when I read, I don't sit down and read. Instead I walk around the living room and get my steps in. I seem to get more steps in that way now that it's been too cold to go out and walk. So I thought that would be a good idea to share with all of you readers - read while walking around to get your steps in!

I'll update you once the endoscopy is done.

Good luck getting some info on your medical issues. I like the idea of walking and reading. I love to read!

I so understand how frustrating that is. Younger dd has had alot of them too for other health issues. We are sooooooooo tired of doctors and sometimes not knowing for sure which one to call. Most of the doctors in my cell phone are for dd. Hope they find the problem and take care of it real soon. So glad you found an interesting way to get your steps in.

I remember the days when I was up a good part of the night reading. I miss that but can't do it anymore. Glad you had a good Thanksgiving and enjoyed the food.

This last year has been filled with lots of doctor appointments as well, so I can understand. Hopefully, they will figure something out for you soon. In the meantime, keep reading since it provides some stress-free time. Hang in there! emoticon
