Update on my pregnancy and what we are having...

Thursday, November 29, 2012

Hello All, it’s been 3 ½ months since my last blog because I am the worst blogger ever. Well not much has gone on in my life besides my pregnancy. Since my last blog I lost 12 pounds and gained all 12 back so as of today I am 21 weeks pregnant emoticon and weight the exact same as when I got pregnant. This is a good thing my doctor said (as most overweight women shouldn’t be gaining weight the first trimester/half of their pregnancy) but this also scares me that I am just going to blow up. With my daughter I did not gain one pound my whole pregnancy with her but I did deliver at 31 weeks so it doesn’t really count.

We went to the doctor on November 16th for our second sonogram and my daughter and husband were beyond the moon. It was confirmed that we are having a BOY!!!! emoticon My daughter really wanted a brother and of course my husband wanted a son. I just want a happy healthy baby (but having my pair is nice too since we are not having any more kids after him). For now I am just so TIRED…TIRED…TIRED. I thought your second trimester was your most energetic but I guess I am just too old emoticon .

Right now we are just buying stuff little by little as everything I had for my daughter is long gone (since she is 6 almost 7 years old) and I am NOT have a baby shower because my family cannot get along and it’s not worth it for me.
I did tell my husband that he could name our second child if we ever hand one since I named our daughter on my own…

so here is Colin Reid Moczygemba

    Congratulations on your wonderful news!

The energy didn't kick in with me until about week 25 to 27 on all three of my pregnancies. I don't think age mattered too much as I was 17, 27, and 29 when I was pregnant! I had another "power surge at around weeks 32-34 when I began the "nesting' phase, going at decorating the baby's room and stocking up on baby items like crazy.

Remember to take things in stride. No pregnancy is exactly the same so remember all the little details. Write down the notable moments. Enjoy the expectation and excitement of this very special time. Some women hate being pregnant. For me, it was all about excitement. I didn't enjoy a lot of aspects of being pregnant, but you have to make the best out of everything in order to get past the parts you don't care for. I wish your family well!
