Day 15 - Taking the next step?

Thursday, November 29, 2012

So today I went out and bought some new workout shirts, which I've been needing for a while! I felt so yucky every time I went to the gym because none of my clothes fit it felt like I wasn't getting as much out of the workouts (now that I'm in clothes that fit I can really tell a difference, I'm back to enjoying the exercise!)

Well I bought a size 28 pair of jeans, the size I started out at in August of 2008. I'm a super size 12 now!! It's amazing to put those back on, I have no idea how I fit into them!!! I was completely swallowed!!! I've been getting bummed out because I still have a ways to go (I used to say a long ways to go) but now that I'm looking back briefly and actually have a physical reminder of how big I was! I can do this!!! I can really do this!!!

I might need to adjust my quality of my food, I've been making a lot of fried food at home! I think tomorrow I'll have a very clean day of eating... maybe 3 days of clean eating, 1 break, 3 days of clean eating, and so on. I'll see, I've never been too strict on my eating but I can feel I need to make a little adjustment if I want to see my body really change!

Well pray for me! This might be the next step on my journey!

You're doing so good, keep it up, and will keep you in my prayers. Haven't stopped by in a while, so saying Hi also.

I'm getting closer and closer to saying it doesn't matter how many good days I have, the fact is I'm growing, and the journey will end in one place, Heaven!!! What pleases God more than always doing the right thing is turning to Him when things are going wrong! Humbling myself when I did the wrong thing and talking to Him about it!
