thank god i took the hint and didn't work out again last night. cuz i am SORE today! i did to a video on demand that was a bit harder than i thought. it was a 1 mile walk video... i typically think of those as ''geriatric''... heh. but i was sweating. it was almost too much to do after the stuff i've put my body through this week. gotta remember to take it slow.. i'm just super excited to get this going!
i had a great conversation with the hubs tonight. he's agreeing to at least attempt some healthy activities with me! score! he's aware that it's going to be difficult and quite frustrating at first.. especially considering he works his butt off at work every day and we're BOTH out of shape. but at least he's giving me hope. haha. all we do is shop and eat... that's IT. i really want to incorporate some biking and hiking eventually. i think it'd be great bonding time! eventually when i lose some body mass... lol... we're going to do laser tag with my best friend and her fiance... but i gotta speed up first. they're super competitive so we're going to have to win, for real.
i think the hubs would be surprised to see how athletic i can really be. i made a comment about us working out at the gym when we get a membership.. and he says ''yeah i'll just be watching you'' *wink* and i'm like... uhm no. trust me. i'm no shade of attractive when i'm working out. lol. red faced, sweating and just GOING... i don't worry about looking pretty when i'm working out. you won't find me in gucci and lip gloss on the treadmill. i'm more of a wal mart sports bra and chapstick type ;)
it's been a pretty good week! me and the hubs are happier than we've ever been. it's been a rough 5 years! we joked that it felt like we're in retirement after the crap we've been through.. haha.
