I tried dragonfruit today and it was yummy.

You usually cut it in half lengthwise (I found out), then use a spoon to scoop out the white part with the little seeds. It was described to me as a mix between watermelon and a pear. But it's not. It's a less sweet kiwi, or more like watermelon rind- very subtle. And the texture is not as juicy as kiwi- closer to watermelon and pear, but not mealy.

I love how exotic and pretty it is. It makes me pay attention. It makes me remember. It's special and good, like a treat. And all of that is a million times more rewarding than the last candy bar I ate (too quickly), with far fewer calories.
