A throw-down? A challenge? It's ON!

So, I was browsing blogs earlier today, when I came across one that I thought would be motivational. I was right. (If you're interested, check it out, here:

Okay, now that THAT'S out of the way.....back to the blog.

So, I was reading MOSTMOM1's blog. She just completed a 600 day Spark Streak of exercise. Every day - minimum 10 minutes a day. At the end of her video - she urges us that WE CAN DO THIS! Well - I was convinced. And, whether I was or not, my kids were watching it with me, and THEY are convinced I can do it!

What does this mean? Well, I guess it means that I will be starting my very own 600 day exercise Spark Streak. Starting...well, today! Which will take me to July 19, 2014. (My oldest daughter will have just turned 18!)

Challenge accepted. I am on this like white on rice!

I guess I better head off and get this going.

So to anyone else who is reading this, I challenge YOU. What kind of Spark Streak can you start? Make a goal - how long will be long enough for you to make it an accomplishment? How can it help you reach your long-term goals? Let's do this together!!

Why? Because...I KNOW WE CAN DO THIS!!! :-) So, let's DO IT!!

    I started with 10 minutes a day about a year ago. You can do this! And how great that your kids will help motivate you.

    Hello,Good blog! I need some motivation-Ty.But I don't think you can put a 'time limit' on it-its a life long comitment to eat healthy and exercise reg- I ve been a member for a long time now and in the beginning I was on and off with my healthy eating habits and exercise,then I really did it-I worked hard and it took me 3 months to do it but I did it.I really felt good too-lost my big butt and tummy but summer came and I slacked off again and I couldn't seem to get motivated until today.Just tired of feeling fat and old-I am going to change my way of thinking again but this time I mean it! LOL

    I'm totally doing this -- love the ten minute commitment. Plus love her video about how most days it turns into more than just ten minutes... but that on the days where the energy is low, it's okay to just do ten minutes. Love it!

    10 minutes of exercise everyday sounds very doable. Anyone can spare 10 minutes.
