Plan B Part 2

Monday, November 26, 2012

Good weigh in this morning. My husband is picking up a few of the Safeway dinners for me for the rest of the week. I need this kickstart.

His dog ate the last piece of my homemade french bread that I had grabbed for my after-work (J#2) snack, so I think that I'll bake tonight. In addition to getting back on track foodwise, I need to pay attention to my head-signals and do stuff that makes me feel better. I baked and played with orchids on Saturday, then watered stuff of my mom's and repotted her remaining orchid on Sunday. Got some reading in.

I need to wrap holiday presents. I keep forgetting to do that. And I need to check out what I've bought already so I don't over-buy. Do you ever do that? Forget what you've bought and keep on buying? LOL!

Better day for everyone -- xoxo

Good for you for keeping mindful of your food intake over the holidays. I've got all my Christmas shopping done, packaged and ready the the post office.

When my children were small I'd start carrying around a notebook and each time I bought something I would write it down so I could keep track. I need to start baking my own bread, the loafs are so big here that we don't eat the entire thing fast enough and it goes stale. I hate wasting food and I can only make so many bread crumbs.

I overbuy more than I want to admit because I forget what I've purchased. emoticon

I think your plan is great because it is very do-able and best of all, sounds like it is going to be very helpful. Sometimes just making a few basic changes gives us the structure we need to get back on the path we want to be on, instead of wandering farther and farther from the trail.

    Take good care!

Oh my . . . without my life of what I've gotten I'd be lost!
