In the past 6 months I have lost 41 pounds.
[From my highest weight, I've lost a total of 51.2 lbs.]
I've been working REALLY hard at eating right and keeping my blood glucose levels steady & under control.
And now that I have a good handle on the eating healthy part, I am going to try to incorporate some exercise into my regimen. I knew that if I tried to change too much at the beginning (like change all my eating habits AND begin exercising) that I would likely become overwhelmed and probably give up.
It hasn't been easy, not even in the slightest bit. And I still fight health issues that make losing weight more difficult, and medications that can cause weight gain. I think that is why I am so excited about my weight loss. It feels great to see my hard work pay off. Needless to say, I am very determined to stick with this!
