In the past 6 months I have lost 41 pounds.
[From my highest weight, I've lost a total of 51.2 lbs.]

I've been working REALLY hard at eating right and keeping my blood glucose levels steady & under control.
And now that I have a good handle on the eating healthy part, I am going to try to incorporate some exercise into my regimen. I knew that if I tried to change too much at the beginning (like change all my eating habits AND begin exercising) that I would likely become overwhelmed and probably give up.

It hasn't been easy, not even in the slightest bit. And I still fight health issues that make losing weight more difficult, and medications that can cause weight gain. I think that is why I am so excited about my weight loss. It feels great to see my hard work pay off. Needless to say, I am very determined to stick with this!

    Candace!!!!!! You're doing so awesome!!! I had no idea you were losing all this weight!!!!! I'm so proud of you. I feel the same as you....too much sets me up for failure. I'm working on my food now and stressors that keep me from working out. My goal, like a lot, is to start with the exercising Jan 1st. I'm giving myself until then to get some things accomplished and I'm making headway. emoticon

    Good for you! You will see that the execise part will give you extra energy and you will feel even better. You will also see the weight come off faster!
